This girl Scout is offering so much more than cookies. A one-year-old, reddish-brown Australian Kelpie mix, Scout loves to play in the yard, chill by the TV, and cuddle up on a soft couch cushion (she may need to adapt to your home's furry-bodies-on-furniture rules). She's simply the sweetest girl with so much joy to offer a loving home, and those soulful brown eyes will have you at hello. Scout spent some time roaming the street, so she can be a little cautious when meeting new people or new dogs, but it won't be long before she lets her fur down and makes herself right at home (she's currently living in a full house with four other dogs and having a blast!). Some of her favorite games are tug-of-war, fetch, and chase, and she absolutely loves to run, so if you have space, she'll put it to very good use. She's also perfectly comfortable riding in a car or dozing in a crate, just a sweet, well-behaved companion all around. She can't wait to meet you, so come see if Scout might be the forever friend you're looking for. An adoption donation is required for each adoption; please see HERE for more information about this. To apply for this dog, fill out an adoption application on our website: Adoption Application – SOS Animal Rescue League in Rhode Island (sosarl.org) **Additional info you should know – For most of our dogs, we are only guessing at predominant breed or breed mix. We get to know each of our dogs as an individual and do our best to describe and place them based on personality not breed label. Some dogs may not yet be in New England, nor ready for immediate adoption. There may be additional vetting, quarantine, waiting periods and/or fees depending upon your state of residence. If you have questions or concerns on any of this, you can discuss this with your Adoption Counselor.
