At the age of 10 years old, I sadly found my life turned inside out and upside down. But luckily I am a Diamond Dachshund pup now, so the future is looking brighter!  I weigh around 10 pounds, maybe less after having 15 teeth removed. While I’m healing from the big dental procedure, I can only eat soft food. I don’t let that hold me down though! I love napping, burrowing, snuggling, and am a pretty chill dude. I’m potty trained, crate trained, getting along well with my doxie foster siblings and the new dogs in the neighborhood I’ve met too. Even the neighborhood cats don’t seem to bother me! Going for walks is still a bit scary for me, but I’m trying to be brave and slowly becoming less skittish when out and about.  As an older, distinguished gentleman I really enjoy peace and quiet, so I would likely thrive the most in a calm, quieter home.  Now that I am all healed from dental surgery, I hope I can meet you! Could you be my forever?
