Six months later, her puppies are adopted, she is healthy, happy, and ready for a fresh start of her own.  Shadow is a beautiful 25 pound terrier mix with a sleek black coat, perky ears, a white belly, one speckled paw and one white paw, and a personality that melts hearts. She is goofy, sweet, playful, cuddly, and deeply devoted. She will follow you like your shadow, but when she is content she will happily snooze on the couch, snoring loudly and missing bedtime altogether because she is too cozy. She is fully potty trained, loves sleeping in bed with her people and dog friends, enjoys long walks in quiet places, sunbathing with her ball, and car rides that mean adventure. She eats dinner politely in her kennel and waits patiently, hoping you will notice her being precious. Shadow is protective of her people in new environments, gentle with those she trusts, and shows affection by resting her head on your shoulder or adorably pawing at your face when she likes you. She does best with dogs her size and older kids. She is searching for someone who wants a true bond, not just a pet, but a partner in life.
