This young girl is Shadow. She has mild CH. From the internet: ‘Cerebellar hypoplasia (CH) is a neurological disorder that affects a cat’s balance, coordination, and fine motor skills. It’s also known as wobbly cat syndrome. CH is caused by improper development of the cerebellum, the part of the brain that controls these functions. CH is non-progressive, meaning it doesn’t worsen with age, and it’s neither contagious nor painful. There’s no known treatment for CH, but many cats can adapt to their condition over time. Physical therapy may also help. CH severity Symptoms Mild Slight head tremors, wide stance, but can still run, jump, walk, and climb Shadow would love to be in a home environment.
