Meet Sheeva! Sheeva is a beautiful 2-year-old Domestic Medium Hair looking for the fresh start she truly deserves. This sweet girl came to us after being rescued from a severe hoarding situation where her previous home had more animals than they were able to properly care for. Now, Sheeva is ready to find a loving family that can give her the patience, security, and individualized attention she’s never had. Sheeva is a gentle, quiet cat who gets along well with other cats, making her a wonderful companion for a feline-friendly home. We are unsure how she would do with dogs, so any introductions should be slow and carefully managed. Because of her past, Sheeva is still learning that people can be kind and that a home can be a safe place. She would thrive in a calm, quiet environment with a patient family willing to let her settle in at her own pace. With time, consistency, and plenty of gentle encouragement, Sheeva has every opportunity to blossom into the confident, loving cat she was always meant to be. Sheeva is spayed, microchipped, current on her rabies vaccination, basic boosters, and FIV/FeLV negative. Sheeva’s adoption fee is $50. IMPORTANT NOTICE: All shelter animals are required by Texas state law to be spayed/neutered. RAC completes this procedure at the age of 12 weeks. If you are adopting a pet under the age of 12 weeks or an animal that has not yet been spayed or neutered, you will be required to return the pet to our facility on the agreed upon date set at the time of adoption. This policy is non-negotiable and violation of this health code is a criminal offense.
