Name:  Shirley        Best Guess for Breed: Retriever and terrier mix   Best Guess for Age: 3 years as of June 2025       SEX:   Female   Approximate Weight:   51 lbs   Gets Along With:  Other dogs! We haven’t seen her with cats or kids but we are happy to discuss integration techniques with any potential adopters!   Currently Living at:  South Carolina shelter – needs a foster or forever home in the DC area to get up here.    Shirley is Looking For:   Shirley was a great mama to her babies Sammy, Smith, Scarlet, and Sophie, and they all went off to find their forever homes. She is now eager to get her own human family. Long sniffy walks, romps in parks, and all the adventures they can dream up – yes, please! And to make new pup pals along the way! But most of all – she wants to know where she belongs, upon whom to bestow all the love and loyalty in her heart.What do you say? Will you be the lucky recipient? What My Foster Says About Me:  We will update this once this pup has spent some time in foster care!
