Name:   Sienna         Best Guess for Breed:  Lab and boxer mix Best Guess for Age: 9 months as of November 2025          SEX:  Female   Approximate Weight:  28.2 lbs as of October 2025 – she is still growing.    Gets Along With: Other dogs! We haven’t seen her with cats or kids but we are happy to discuss integration techniques with any potential adopters!   Currently Living at:  DC area foster home   Special adoption considerations:  Dogs from Puerto Rico have a major transition to go through when they arrive and will need humans who are very committed to socialization. We think Sienna would do best with either a resident dog or a family who can make sure she can go on walks regularly with other dogs, visit the dog park, or go to doggie daycare to learn the ropes.   Sienna is Looking For:  Her forever home! Sienna is a sato from Puerto Rico who is now seeking her forever home in the DC area. She’s a young girl, hasn’t seen nearly enough of the world yet, and is eager to have her own humans for sniffy walks, romps in the park, and all the adventures they can dream up! Dog school would be great, too, so she can show how super smart she is. | Most of all, though, she wants to know she’s safe and loved, where she belongs.
