Skeeter showed up unexpectedly on his Texas foster’s property one day, already sporting a scar on his back leg from an old injury that had healed. Since then, he’s proven himself to be a happy, loving dog who just wants to please everyone he meets. He’s full of personality and seems to always have a smile on his face, even when he’s getting into a little bit of trouble. Skeeter loves to explore and play, though he does have a mischievous streak — he’s been known to slip through the fence to visit the pasture and snack on cow patties. He isn’t good with cats or chickens and will chase them, so a home without small animals is a must. Despite his adventurous side, Skeeter is a joyful, affectionate dog who loves attention and companionship. He’ll be a wonderful fit for someone who appreciates his big smile, silly antics, and loving nature, and who can keep him safely contained and busy doing what he loves most — being happy.
