Meet Smokey!    Smokey came to the shelter because his owner was no longer able to care for him. Smokey turned 4 years old in September and he is ready to find a family that is ready to give him his forever home. According to his previous owner, Smokey knows basic commands like sit, down, shake, and stay.   He loves to play ball and knows the "drop it" command.   He's good with other dogs and children. However he does chase cats and has not been around any livestock. Smokey would love to cuddle up and watch a movie after a day of play.   Are you ready to bring Smokey into your life and start a new adventure together? Come meet Smokey and get your application in for this fun guy!   We have a Foster – to – Adopt program so you can try him out in your home to make sure he's a great fit. No pressure! We supply the food and you supply the love and attention he deserves.   All dogs are vaccinated, microchipped and spayed or neutered (if they are old enough) before they leave the shelter.
