Snoopy loves everyone he meets. He's good with cats, other dogs and people of all ages. Snoopy is a low key guy who loves to be loved on. Snoopy loves life's simple pleasures. His favorite toy is a tennis ball. Like his namesake, Snoopy is very food motivated. Snoopy is a sturdy long and low guy, we suspect there is a little basset hound in his family tree. Snoopy came to us from a rural county shelter. This delightful gem of a dog was dumped in a field by his family when they moved out fo town. Who does that??? Snoopy is housebroken and crate trained. If you'd like to meet this sweet happy boy, please fill out a dog adoption application at dreamhouserescue.org. We are happy to arrange a private meet with an approved adopter. You can meet Snoopy at our weekly adoption event, Saturday noon-2 at PetSmart Eastgate. All of our fully-vetted adoptable dogs go to prospective homes for a one-week trial period to make sure the dog and home are the right fit before an adoption is finalized. We only adopt dogs into homes where all current pets are spayed/neutered and current on vaccines and heartworm and flea and tick prevention. We do check veterinary references to make sure adopters are compliant with standard veterinary care. Our adoptable dogs are spayed/neutered, vaccinated, microchipped, heartworm tested, dewormed and current on flea and tick and heartworm prevention.
