To apply to adopt this dog now, complete our adoption application    HERE To see our upcoming events where you can meet some of our dogs, please see    HERE Age: 3 months (as of 9/10/24) Weight: 22 lbs (as of 9/20/24) Location: RI This dog has been spayed/neutered, is up to date on shots, on heartworm preventative and is microchipped. Meet Snow, a heartwarming bundle of joy. This sweet, friendly, playful, and gentle puppy is sure to melt your heart. Snow's spirit is as pure as her name suggests, filled with an eagerness to please that is simply infectious. She's a little furball of energy, always ready to play with her favorite toys and brighten up your day with her playful antics. She's gentle, too, and loves nothing more than to curl up beside you after a fun-filled day. Snow's personality is a testament to the joy and companionship that dogs bring into our lives. Being just a pup, she has so much to learn! She’ll need house training, crate training and will need to learn to walk on a leash. Basic group training classes is recommended to help her learn commands, socialize with other humans and dogs, as well as build that fur-ever bond with you! Adopt Snow and let her fill your life with love, laughter, and countless memories. If you are looking for a puppy, Snow, or her brother Junior (also available from SOS), may be perfect for you! Fill out an application today and let her know that you'd love to have her join your family! Medical Note:  This dog is being treated/has been treated for demodectic mange, a non-contagious skin condition. The dog has responded well to this treatment and is ready for adoption, though may still have some bald patches and/or thin fur in places.  Please note that demodex can flare up in any dog in times of stress (eg, transport, transition to a new home, change in food, etc). As such, the adopter is advised to discuss this condition and best next steps with their veterinarian. SOS recommends that dogs with a history of demodectic mange be kept on regular NexGard or Bravecto for flea/tick prevention for at least 3 months after adoption for adults or until 18 months of age for puppies.  Please see here for more information on demodectic mange and talk with your Adoption Counselor about this condition.  Please check with your vet if you have any questions or concerns about this medical history. An adoption donation is required for each adoption; please see   HERE   for more information about this. To apply for this dog, fill out an adoption application on our website:   Adoption Application – SOS Animal Rescue League in Rhode Island (sosarl.org)   **Additional info you should know – For most of our dogs, we are only guessing at predominant breed or breed mix. We get to know each of our dogs as an individual and do our best to describe and place them based on personality not breed label. Some dogs may not yet be in New England, nor ready for immediate adoption. There may be additional vetting, quarantine, waiting periods and/or fees depending upon your state of residence. If you have questions or concerns on any of this, you can discuss this with your Adoption Counselor.
