Meet Socks & Sandals ! Socks is a total lovebug with a motorboat purrâ&#194&#128&#194&#148if youâ&#194&#128&#194&#153re looking for a snuggle buddy who also brings the fun, heâ&#194&#128&#194&#153s your guy. Although he is shy at first, once he warms up to you and gets settled heâ&#194&#128&#194&#153s super playful (the Kong cat feather teasers are his absolute obsession) and he spends a lot of his day romping around and happily hanging out with his sister, Sandals. With Socks, you get the best mix of affectionate lap-time and kitten energy, especially when heâ&#194&#128&#194&#153s with his bonded best friend.Sandals is the brave little adventurer of the duoâ&#194&#128&#194&#148confident, curious, and always ready to lead the way with Socks right behind her. Once she warms up to you, sheâ&#194&#128&#194&#153s a huge lap cat who loves to be close and soak up attention, and sheâ&#194&#128&#194&#153s as sweet as can be while still loving a good play session. She is quite brave (sheâ&#194&#128&#194&#153ll calmly hold her own even around a big 65 lb Belgian Malinois), and she brings a bold-but-snuggly energy that makes her so easy to fall in love withâ&#194&#128&#194&#148especially paired with her brother.Socks & Sandals are bonded so they are required to go to a home together. To help keep them as BFF’s – their adoption fee is 2 for 1. They are available for preadoption so come meet them, fall in love and then pick them up after their spay/neuter surgeries. Please note: Our Santa Cruz locationâ&#194&#128&#194&#153s Shelter hours are 11-6pm, 7 days a week! Although clients can walk through and see any animals in their kennels during open hours, we end â&#194&#128&#194&#156meet and greetsâ&#194&#128&#194&#157 (aka meeting an animal out of the kennel) at 4:30pm every day. If youâ&#194&#128&#194&#153d like to meet an animal out of the kennel, please arrive before 4:00pm to allow for time to discuss individual animals and meet them.
