Hi, my name is Socks. I’m super friendly and I love everyone and everything, especially my canine foster fur sibling. I’m very curious and like to put my nose in everything. Cupboards, power tools, you name it, I want to explore it. My foster family says I’m fearless. Because I’m a baby my crate training and house training are works in progress. I really don’t like my crate at all when the door is closed, but I will go in there to eat my meals. FM says I need to learn to settle down and be by myself a little bit but I can’t understand why. I’m getting really good at asking to go outside to do my business.I know my name and come when called(most of the time) and I know how to sit and wait for treats. I’m also learning ‘drop it’. I am going to be a bigger girl and my foster family is working on teaching me not to jump on people. It would be great if my new family continued that training, especially if that family has tiny humans in the mix.Because I’m still a baby, I’m teething and I like chewing/nibbling on everything(including fingers, toes and flip flops). I’m good with tradesies so all you need to do is tell me no and give me something that is okay to chew on instead . I love stuffed toys and anything fuzzy so those are always great.Even though I would be great as an only dog, I would REALLY REALLY love to have a dog sibling to play and wrestle with, after all socks like being paired up, right?I would be better in a house as opposed to an apartment or condo because I love to run and play and I have lots of energy, so I would like a back yard to romp around in.
