Meet Sonny — The Orange Commentator of Life (Looking for a Home With His Sister Cher). If cats had sports announcers, Sonny would absolutely have that job. This handsome orange tabby has opinions about everything, and he is not shy about sharing them. He chirps when he plays, squeaks when he runs, and produces the funniest little sound effects that make it seem like he’s narrating his own adventures. Sonny is playful, curious, and endlessly entertaining. He loves carrying toy balls around the house like tiny trophies and racing through the room with his sister Cher like two furry Olympic athletes. But Sonny has one very important rule about humans: Standing humans are suspicious.&#227&#128&#128However, the moment you sit down on the couch or bed, congratulations — you’ve just been promoted to Official Belly Rub Technician. Once Sonny trusts you, he loves rolling around at your feet, soaking up pets, and keeping you company while you relax. Sonny Comes With His Sister Cher (And That’s Non-Negotiable). Sonny and his sister Cher are deeply bonded. They sleep together, play together, groom each other, and somehow insist on eating from the same bowl even though they each have their own. If Sonny feels unsure, he calls for Cher — and she appears immediately to reassure him.&#227&#128&#128Because of this strong bond, they must be adopted together. The good news? Adopting a bonded pair is actually wonderful. They entertain each other, comfort each other, and fill your home with double the purrs, double the love, and double the daily comedy. A Little About Sonny’s Shy Side. Sonny and Cher recently went through a medical treatment that involved daily medication and weekly baths. While the treatment helped them heal, the experience understandably made them cautious around strangers. Sonny may be shy when he first meets someone new, but with patience and kindness he relaxes and begins to show his sweet, playful personality. And with Cher by his side, he gains confidence every day. Watching Sonny blossom in a loving home will be incredibly rewarding. Sonny may be the talkative one in this duo, but Cher is his confidence. Together they are a perfectly matched pair — and they’re looking for a calm home where their next adventure can begin. If you’re ready for twice the love, twice the purrs, and twice the laughter, Sonny and Cher might be the perfect match for you! (You can easily tell him and his sister Cher apart as Sonny has a slightly tipped left ear).   Sonny and Cher are now playing in our Middletown PetSmart adoption center.  Please stop by and spend some quality time with them! Please submit our no-obligation Adoption Application:  https://forgottencats.org/adoption-application/.  Thank you!  (Foster:  Nancy P.)
