Soup is a sweet 1–2-year-old mama who is ready to be the center of attention. A diligent mother, Soup poured her whole heart into raising her five kittens. Now that her baby soups are done cooking, she’s ready to find a family that will lovingly dote on her. She adores humans and will happily soak up all the head scratches you’re willing to give and the food you have to offer. Soup is the perfect companion for someone who wants a gentle, quiet buddy—whether that’s sitting beside you while you watch TV (hoping you'll share some of your snacks with her), supervising your emails during a WFH day, or enjoying some peaceful window watching. She hasn’t been very playful while in “mom mode,” but we think her fun, youthful side will come out once she can relax and just be a cat again. She likes to perch so she would love a home that provides her an opportunity to climb up somewhere and supervise her surroundings. She also loves to scratch! So plenty of scratching post options are this girl's dream. Soup isn’t a fan of dogs, and we’re unsure how she feels about other adult cats. She has done well with kids though! She likes anyone who will give her pets and open up a can of wet food. If you’re looking for a loyal, calm, people-loving companion, Soup might be your girl.
