Please contact Courtney Nobles (courtneyn@luckydoganimalrescue.org) for more information about this pet.pretty girl ISO fresh start and love! SPOON NEEDS A FOSTER OR FOREVER HOME!!!! Name:  Spoon       Best Guess for Breed:  Lab and hound mix   Best Guess for Age:   3 years as of February 2025       SEX:   Female   Approximate Weight: 53 lbs   Gets Along With:   Spoon has lived with another dog and with children aged 4 and 12. She hasn’t been seen with cats but can be tested if you have them.   Currently Living at:   Seeking a forever home!   All about Spoon:Spoon arrived into Lucky Dog’s care as a puppy and was quickly adopted out into a loving home. Through no fault of anyone, she now needs a new home.   Her previous humans say she played very well with their children! In their words: ‘She’s smart enough to know to be more gentle with the younger kid and she will be more playful with the older kid. She sleeps in the bed with the older kid often. She loves to be cuddled and balled up so a lot of times she will grab an item of there’s and snuggle with it if they’re at school.’ She’s generally good in the home – ‘She’s very calm in the crate. She goes in without a problem. She has blankets and toys so I would say it’s more den like.’   With other dogs, she’s more – in her previous human’s words – more of a loner. She is fine off-leash with dogs but tends to mind her own business. She got along well with her large dog sibling. She has plenty of energy to burn, and her preference is for walkies out in nature, on trails – ‘She definitely has a high sniff profile– part of her hound like qualities.’   Spoon is eager to once again have her own humans for sniffy walks and all the adventures they can dream up. In exchange, she promises loyal companionship. What do you say? Can you see her by your side?   Lucky Dog cannot guarantee any dog is housebroken.  All of our dogs are working on their crate training.  TO ADOPT:      The adoption fee for this dog is $460, which includes the cost of routine vetting, including vaccinations and spay/neuter.
