Meet Steven Tyler  Named by his prior family after the legendary frontman of Aerosmith (which automatically earns him extra cool points ), Steven Tyler is every bit the rock star his name suggests. This fun-loving, toy-tossing, fetch-obsessed guy is always ready to bring the entertainment. Steven came to PittieLove after his owner experienced life-changing medical issues and could no longer care for him. He was clearly very loved and lived happily with both a small dog and a cat before joining us, and he’s settling into foster life beautifully. He recently enjoyed a playdate with a new small dog and did great, and his foster kitty sibling barely earns a second glance. If there’s a tennis ball  nearby, Steven is ready to play. Fetch is his favorite sport, followed closely by tug with his beloved red dinosaur stuffy. The best part? Even during an tug session, he’ll happily stop for a nose kiss before diving right back into the game. He also loves tossing his toys into the air just to make his own fun. When the zoomies are over, Steven is an affectionate cuddle bug. He loves pets, adores being close to his people, and has the sweetest habit of wrapping his paws around you while resting his head on yours—as if giving you the world’s biggest dog hug. Steven is a wonderful travel buddy, calmly riding in the car by sitting or lying down for the whole trip. On walks, he enjoys exploring and may get distracted by something exciting now and then, but he responds well to gentle reminders and is eager to keep going. He’s also quite the polite communicator—when he needs to go outside, he’ll simply wander from room to room giving a few little barks to let you know. Chicken and jerky are the quickest way to this handsome boy’s heart, and he’s always happy to earn a tasty reward. Steven would love an active family that enjoys games of fetch, outdoor adventures, and plenty of cuddle time. He’d especially thrive with people who are home often and can give him the reassurance and companionship he loves.
