Meet Stevie!!!! Stevie was brought into a shelter as a stray in Tennessee. She has been waiting her turn for someone to save her for some time now. We believe it's just because she's a typical hound who is middle-aged. Stevie is still a energetic gal who loves playing with other dogs and will love a fenced yard that she can run and exercise in. Stevie is looking for a active family who will take her out on long hikes and also even taking her on explorations so she can use her nose. Stevie is currently working on her leash walking. She can be a little bit strong on leash. We would recommend that she continue training on this. Stevie is super smart so basic training with her on leash walking and other commands would be a benefit for her. She definitely is the type of girl that will need to get out everyday to exercise, not only her mind but get all her energy out. She is one beautiful girl and will make a family so happy. Just look at those ears of hers. She is just too cute isn't she? Stevie does love playing with toys as well. She loves squeakers! She also is good in her crate and is pretty much housebroken!! Yahooo!!! As a typical hound she is very food motivated and will work for it. At the end of the day, if you are looking for a loving, smart and adorable hound girl, Stevie is the one for you. Please note she is a huge cuddle bug after she gets her energy out!! Apply for her today and give her the forever home she deserves. She's been waiting too long.
