small sweetie seeking fresh start and love! STITCH NEEDS A FOSTER OR FOREVER HOME!!!! Name:  Stitch       Best Guess for Breed:   Chihuahua mix  Best Guess for Age: 2 years as of November 2025         SEX:  Male   Approximate Weight:   12.5 lbs   Gets Along With:  Other dogs! We haven’t seen him with cats or kids but we are happy to discuss integration techniques with any potential adopters!   Currently Living at:  South Carolina shelter – needs a foster or forever home in the DC area to get up here!   Special adoption considerations:   Stitch arrived in the shelter in November with a cherry eye. It will be surgically repaired before he comes to the DC area.    Stitch is Looking For:   His forever home! This small sweetie landed in the shelter through no fault of his own. He’s eager to once again have his own humans for sniffy walks and world exploration. And snuggles, definitely. Lots of those.    Most of all, though, he wants to know he’s safe and loved, where he belongs.
