He adores giving kisses and will happily lounge nearby, watching you with total admiration. He’s also playful with other dogs! It took him a little time to feel comfortable, likely due to past experiences, but now he loves playing with his foster siblings, Pablo and a little Chihuahua Yorkie mix. He walks beautifully on a leash—no pulling—and has the cutest little gallop thanks to his short legs. He even went for a run recently and did great, staying right by his foster’s side the whole time. p>Nov. 1, 2025 Stubby is an affectionate fellow and adapts well.  He would be a happy co-pilot in your car or lounge with you on your sofa anytime – just ask him.  He is the Teflon dog with a fine coat and, although mostly white, is easy to keep clean.  He might need a sweater during the colder months to keep his pink belly warm.   Oct. 2025 Stubby has a foster in Pennsylvania now.  He did well on his flight and long transport from Florida to Pennsylvania.  He is settling in with his new foster as he awaits his forever home. Sept. 2025  Low rider, Stubby, is a 37 lb. male, neutered, vaccinated, and 4Dx negative.  This confident and happy pup is about one year old.  He was abandoned, along with a female dog, near the Sabana Picnic area in El Yunque (Naguabo).  He is very people friendly and gets along well with other dogs.  He will readily come to greet you and loves rolling on to his back to get belly rubs.  He looks like a combination of Basset Hound, Terrier, and Beagle.  He is learning how to walk on a leash, sit and rides well in a car in a crate.  He has a caregiver who feeds him, has some shelter from weather, but is not allowed inside the rental.  Stubby is looking for his forever or foster home where he can have a soft comfy bed of his own.
