Name: Stud Muffin       Best Guess for Breed:  Chihuahua, terrier mix Best Guess for Age:  11.5 months as of  June 27, 2024   SEX:   Male   Approximate Weight:   9.4 lbs as of 6/14/24   Gets Along With:   He gets along with other dogs! We haven’t seen him with cats but he can be tested. Due to his breed and small size, we recommend caution on homes with children under the age of 12.    Currently Living at:  South Carolina shelter; needs a foster or forever home in the DC area to get up here!   Special Adoption Consideration: You may notice Stud Muffin has some hair loss – have no fear!  He is being treated for demodex which is a non-contagious form of mange triggered by a weak immune system. He will have a shiny coat in no time!   Stud Muffin is Looking For: This small sweetie wants this out there right now: He didn’t choose his name. Someone at the shelter did, thinking he needs something to compensate for his small size. He does not. He is a pretty great little dog who is eager to be by his new humans’ side on long sniffy walks and world exploration! And by (or on, if that’s your thing) their laps as they all chill after a fun day together.    He’s looking forward to bestowing upon his new family all the adoring gazes and kisses he’s saving up for them – and being a loyal companion for all his days.
