Sulu came in with his twin brother Suki. Both are 3 year old, AKC registered, miniature Manchester Terriers. They came to us becasue their senior owner could no longer care for them. Sulu is a little smaller, weighing in at 10 lbs. The boys were adopted together as puppies from the same litter and were raised together in the same home. We observe that they have litter mate syndrome (behavioral issues that can arise when two puppies from the same litter are raised together in the same home. These issues often incude strong dependency on each other, difficulty bonding with humans, aggression and separation anxiety). The boys an be aggressive with one another, especially when food is involved. We have separated them and plan to adopt them separately.
