Sunflower came to us from a bad situation, being passed around on various social media sites to people who were not ready to commit to loving and caring for a dog.  When we were alerted to Sunflower’s situation we stepped in and rescued her to insure she finds a real family this time around.  Sunflower is understandably a tad shy with new people and while she has lived with other dogs, she needs a little time to get to know new dogs.  Sunflower is a sweet petite lab golden mix about a year old and in the 50 pound range.   Sunflower is housetrained  and knows a few basic commands.  She is affectionate, loves to play ball and bonds with her people quickly.  She is looking for a family that will give her some patience, training, consistency and structure to help her become the best girl possible.  If Sunflower sounds like the dog your family can commit to, email dogs@labradorsandfriends.org or fill out our online application at www.labradorsandfriends.org  Sunflower is located in Southern California.
