Once we receive it, we’ll forward it to the foster family for follow up. We are 100% foster based, so we don’t have a facility. Sunny is a beautiful 8-year-old purebred yellow Labrador who’s got the energy of a puppy and the wisdom of an old soul. You’d never guess she’s 8 with her love for long walks, hikes, and endless playtime. Before coming to LRRF as a surrender, she spent most of her time outside, but now she’s fully embracing the good life with her foster family, surrounded by kids and lots of love. She’s lived with children before and has bonded with all 6 of ours, plus me and my husband! Sunny needs someone who appreciates what it can do to a super affectionate dog if they have been ignored and not given the attention they need to be healthy and secure. She can be demanding of attention and is learning to sit before being petted and not crowd into other people’s space. She is crate trained and has learned to walk on a leash since coming to our home. She is good with other animals and will bow down to the level of our smallest terrier to try and engage him in play. He can be cranky so when he tells her no she gives an audible sigh and moves along. Sunny is looking for her forever home where she can shower her humans with love, care, and be part of the family fun.
