She has such a peaceful vibe! When describing a good dog, Suzie Q is exactly what comes to mind. She’s not too big, not too small, she’s got just enough energy to have a good time but not so much that she’s exhausting to deal with! She loves other dogs and her play style is usually more on the gentle side. Her playful side shines through when she and our other dogs play keep away with their favorite toys.  Suzie Q enjoys going for strolls with our volunteers. She is a true southern belle and we have yet to hear her hound song. Our other hounds howl out with excitement but Suzie Q usually just quietly observes. We think she would do well in most any home environment. Her calm demeanor is truly remarkable. All PAWS cats and dogs are current on the vaccinations appropriate for their age. Those who are confirmed over 4 months old or older will have their rabies vaccinations. Age permitting, dogs/puppies are tested for heartworm disease. Cats/kittens are tested (and are negative) for Feline Immunodeficiency Virus (FIV) and Feline Leukemia Virus (FeLV). All are treated with flea/tick prevention and given internal parasite preventative on a regular basis.
