See Swayzi’s HomepageGo to our official websiteYou can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.All dogs listed here are available for adoption from Yorkie Rescue Houston.  Our goal is to ensure our rescued pets go to their forever home and never end up back in the system.  To that end, an application is required on all potential adopters.   Our adoption fee varies by dog.  We accept electronic funds via VENMO or Zelle, or cash only. donate@yorkierescuehouston.org or, if you prefer: our fundraising platform, Zeffy Puppies too young to be spayed/neutered are available for Foster-to-Adopt only.  A FTA contract is required.   This baby is 100% blind.Swayzi was surrendered by her family.  She is not housebroke and being kept in diapers.  This created urine burns and the family could no longer afford her care.  She is sight impaired.  We need to get her to the eye specialist to see if there is anything we can do to help her **update** The animal Opthalmologist has given us the news we did not want to hear,   She is permanently blind.  She has no vision.  Not light, not movement.   There is no treatment that can help her.  Her adopter should be prepared to be in 'clean up mode' at any given time.  NO DIAPERS for this girl, as she had urine burns on intake.
