Do you have time and room in your life for a foster dog? http://www.muttloverescue.org/foster.html *****************   Sweetbriar had been seized, last August, with 15 other hounds from deplorable conditions that had taken the lives of 3 other hounds before they could be rescued.  Mutt Love did rescue Mary Washington and Liberty who came from the same place and we are happy to say both have found their forever homes. Sweetbriar stole the hearts of shelter staff with her perfect mixture of laziness and mischievous fun. She is a daily reminder that through perseverance, love, and lots of snacks, the world could become a better place. Despite her beginnings, Sweetbriar remains trusting and a very sweet pup.  Sweetbriar is about 5 years old and weighs about 45-50 pounds.  **BECAUSE OF OUR REQUIREMENT FOR A HOME VISIT, WE ARE ONLY ABLE TO ADOPT TO HOMES IN THE NORTHERN VA / MARYLAND / DC METRO AREA** We have adoption events EVERY SATURDAY from 12-3 p.m. Please note that not all dogs can attend every event, so if you are interested in meeting a particular dog, please complete a no-obligation application on our website at http://www.muttloverescue.org/application.html OR write to adopt@muttloverescue.org.
