Hello. My name is T.C.! I am a 6 year old domestic short haired cat that is looking for my furever home. I was originally surrendered to the shelter as my owners were not able to continue to care for me. I am a very sweet and special boy! You see, I have wounds on one of my feet that have been treated but are still healing and will need to have pellet litter for my litter box until those are fully healed. I am also FIV positive, so my healing process is a little slower than the average feline. It’s okay, I just need extra time to heal and will need a family that can properly care for me. Having FIV means I need to be the only feline in the home or in one that has other FIV positive cats. It also means, that I will need to be a strictly indoor cat for the rest of my life which is fine by me! I kind of like the comfy indoor life. Since I am considered a special needs my adoption fee is $30. I am neutered, microchipped, current on my rabies vaccination, my FVRCP booster and FELV negative. IMPORTANT NOTICE: All shelter animals are required by Texas state law to be spayed/neutered. RAC completes this procedure at the age of 12 weeks. If you are adopting a pet under the age of 12 weeks or an animal that has not yet been spayed or neutered, you will be required to return the pet to our facility on the agreed upon date set at the time of adoption. This policy is non-negotiable and violation of this health code is a criminal offense.
