Name:  Tammy        Best Guess for Breed:  Chihuahua mix Best Guess for Age:  8 months as of January 2026        SEX:   Female   Approximate Weight: 11 lbs as of 12/30/25 – she likely has a bit more to grow,    Gets Along With:  Other dogs! We haven’t seen her with cats or kids but we are happy to discuss integration techniques with any potential adopters!   Currently Living at:   South Carolina shelter – needs a foster or forever home in the DC area to get up here!   Tammy is Looking For: Her forever home! This sweet young girl is not very long out of puppyhood, and she has so much she wants to see and do! Sniffy walks, romps in parks, all the adventures her new humans can dream up – yes, please! (Bonus: At her size, she’s highly portable over giant boulders and similar obstacles!). Snuggles are high on her wish list as well. But you know what she wants most of all?
