Meet Tang, a striking burnt orange tabby with a sweet soul and a soft spot for human connection. Estimated to be about a year old, Tang came to us from the local impound after being found as a stray at a construction site. He still has a bit of tar-like residue on his fur—a small reminder of his rougher days—but he’s on the path to a brighter, cozier future.  Tang is a generally quiet kitty who enjoys peaceful company, though he’ll occasionally treat you to a soft meow when he has something to say. He’s most content when he’s close to his person—preferably touching you with a paw, a lean, or a snuggle. He’s a true companion cat who finds comfort in physical closeness.  He doesn’t seem to mind the other cats in his space and could likely do well with a feline friend after a slow, proper introduction. His experience with dogs and children is unknown, so a calm, patient home would be ideal as he settles in.  If you’re looking for a gentle, affectionate buddy who just wants to stay close and share quiet moments, Tang might be the perfect cat for you.
