Tangerine may be a little shy at first, but give him time—and a peaceful, patient home—and you’ll discover a warm-hearted cuddle bug who just needed space to bloom. Naturally cautious and quiet, Tangerine has made great progress in foster care and now enjoys curling up on the couch, wrestling with his siblings, and asking for snacks (his appetite is no joke!). Once he trusts you, he loves gentle pets and will happily fall asleep on your lap. He’s playful, especially with crinkly toys and round balls, but he definitely prefers a low-key environment where he can feel safe and unhurried.Tangerine would do best with a calm cat buddy in a quiet household without children or with older, gentle kids who can respect his boundaries. He’s ideal for someone who wants a sweet, soulful companion who enjoys closeness—on his own terms. He’s not needy or demanding, but he does love being near his people once he’s comfortable. Since he is still young, Tangerine will need to be adopted into a home with another kitty friend to socialize with.
