From the moment she arrived, she settled easily into her foster home, confidently joining the pack and recognizing her people as family right away. This sweet girl is truly an old soul. She is exceptionally calm for a puppy and does not nip at all. Taylor has a thoughtful way of watching the world, often gazing up with her beautiful, expressive eyes that seem far too wise for someone so young. Taylor does wonderfully with cats and dogs of all sizes, and has done well with older children. She has not been tested with small children, so that experience is currently unknown. She loves food, toys, and chewies, and enjoys being part of the daily rhythm of a busy household. Despite her calm demeanor, Taylor has already embraced her role as a little guardian. She is vocal and will bark to alert her family when someone approaches the home — often before the other dogs do. She takes her job seriously and wears it proudly. Taylor would thrive in a home with another dog (or dogs), ideally at least one younger dog who can be her playmate. She will also require a secure fenced yard where she can safely explore and relax. She has short, soft fur like a teddy bear, with a black brindle coat and a few small white patches that add to her charm. Taylor is a rare kind of puppy — gentle, observant, loyal, and grounded. She’s looking for a home that will cherish her calm nature, give her canine companionship, and allow her to grow into the incredible dog she’s clearly meant to be.Adoption applications are reviewed based on the best fit for the animal, not on a first-come, first-served basis.
