Meet Marley, born 03/06/2026,  also known as Marley Boy, Marley Bone, and occasionally “Sir, Are Those Ears Just for Decoration?” Marley is one of those dogs who wants to be wherever the fun is happening. Doggie playdate? He’s in. Car ride? Absolutely. Patio adventure? He’s working on becoming a professional. Game of fetch? Marley is pretty sure he understands the rules, and honestly, we don’t have the heart to tell him otherwise.He can be a little timid when something or someone is brand new, but give him a minute to take it all in and his playful, goofy personality starts making an appearance. Once Marley is comfortable, the FOMO kicks in hard — if his people and dog friends are doing something, Marley would very much like his invitation, thank you.And speaking of dog friends, this is one thing Marley is absolutely sure about: he needs one of his very own. A playful canine companion in his forever home is a must for Marley. He genuinely thrives with other dogs, loves having a buddy to play and spend his days with, and we want his next chapter to include that friendship. So if your dog has been requesting a sibling, Marley would like to submit his application.He’s also done well with cats and is surprisingly respectful of feline boundaries. He’ll happily offer to play, but if the cat declines the invitation, Marley gets the message. He has also done great meeting children, although he may be a little shy at first.Marley is kennel trained, sleeps and eats in his kennel, and will even choose it when he wants a break. His house training is almost 100% there, with an occasional excitement-related accident when he’s trying to make it outside after being kenneled. He’s eager to please, loves chewing on bones, and is happiest when he’s surrounded by his favorite people and four-legged friends.But we really need to talk about the eyebrows.Marley has some of the BEST eyebrows around, along with a hilarious habit of walking and sitting like a tiny lion. Add in his handsome face, goofy personality, and his deep appreciation for being told how cute he is, and Marley Bone has developed quite the little fan club.He’s fun. He’s affectionate. He’s wonderfully goofy. And underneath all of that personality is a very special boy who loves his people and absolutely lights up around other dogs.Marley isn’t looking to be somebody’s only dog.He’s looking for a family AND a best friend.   The suggested adoption fee for Marley is $465. Bullies-N-Beyond ResQ Inc. is a 501(c)3, non-profit corporation that is 100% volunteer operated. Adoption donation fees are the primary source of funding for the cost of veterinary care for our animals. All dogs adopted through BNBR will have been administered their age appropriate vaccines which may include DHPP, Rabies, Lepto and Bordetella. All dogs will also be adopted out as already altered if of age, for those not of age, a voucher will be provided. The adoptions for all of our animals will take place in the Omaha, NE area and must be done by the adoptive family in person. We do not ship or deliver. BNBR does not adopt on a first serve basis. All available dogs are adopted based on their needs to provide the best fit home.
