Critter Details

Once you get your hands on her and can hold her, little THUMBELINA is as sweet as can be. Catching her as the challenge, as she is just a tiny bit shy, and she loves to play and be out on the floor with the other kittens, chasing toys and searching for wet food! THUMBELINA arrived at the shelter at the end of May 2025. She was a “Singleton” and not part of a litter.  She is a good buddy to the other kittens and she is fun to watch with those ginormous feet of hers! She is a polydactyl, which means that she does have extra toes on her front feet. She is also a dilute tortoiseshell, mostly gray with a touch of orange in her coat. So, do not pass her up! Be sure to take a look and see if she is the girl for you. It would be easier for her to be adopted if she had another kitten to play with, but it is not a requirement by any means. She will need to be spayed before she can go home with you as your own. So, keep that in mind. Serious adopters are encouraged to CALL the shelter to schedule an adoption appointment. Staff can explain the adoption procedures and fees when you call. The shelter does require EXACT change in the form of cash or a check. The shelter is UNABLE to accept credit or debit. So, please go prepared!
