If you are interested in adopting this dog, please complete our adoption application  https://forms.gle/qpvbPbLPqrXCpqJK7   or email the adoption counselor for more information: lisastern.tr@gmail.com   Dog's Name:  Tidbit (TID0725BVAFS) Estimated Breed:  Silky Terrier   Approximate Age: 8 years   Approximate Weight:  6 pounds Currently Living at:  Foster Adoption Fee:  $300   Tidbit is ready to adopt! See her story below! Tidbit may be small in size, but her medical needs were big — and we were determined to get her the care she deserved. This little lady has captured all our hearts, and with your support, we promised to give her a healthy, happy future. https://givebutter.com/HattonRescue_Tidbit   DOG'S DESCRIPTION: Meet Tidbit or "Tink", as her foster calls her! A mega sweetheart, she’s a gentle and affectionate little dog who would thrive in a quieter, calmer environment where she can get the attention she deserves. Since she never barks, Tink is apartment-friendly (however, she does not do steps)! Tink  does great with all dogs and cats, is pee pad trained, but also enjoys a quick lap around the yard when the weather is nice. She loves all people too, but is a little timid at first meeting. Currently, she is very skinny and enticing her to eat has been a challenge! As the little princess she is, Tink prefers premium food, and is a social eater. Yes, your company is a must when she dines, and she prefers a quiet dining area, thank you. (No, a glass of champagne is not required, Tink is a tea-totaller.)   As you might have guessed, Tink is low key lap dog. She’d love to sleep in the big bed with you, but does not demand it. When you’re not home, she’ll find a quiet place to sleep. That spot may be behind a chair on a blanket, under the bed, or even on a dog bed in the bathroom. She’ll decide where her comfort zone is.  .     Tink has been fully vetted and just completed a dental appointment (yes, she still has teeth!). She has a heart murmur that does not currently require meds but going forward for a safe and healthy future, her cardiologist recommends regular appointments to monitor.   Our Tink is a sweet special gal looking for a very committed adopter who will see to her whims and needs. If you think you are the one, please complete an application today! Adoption fees cover basic vetting, spay/neuter surgery (for dogs over 6 months old), rabies, distemper/parvo vaccinations, treatment for worms, heartworm testing, monthly heartworm prevention and monthly flea/tick prevention (while the animal is in our care), and transport costs from high-kill shelter. Please note that on average, Hatton Animal Rescue spends significantly more on each dog than the adoption fee.
