Critter Details

Timber is the bestest boy!  He is so lively and happy and so appreciative when people take him walking and give him some love.  He is an easy size to handle – only 35 pounds and about a year and a half.  He does well around every dog he has met – never an issue.  He LOVES to play and would appreciate a family with another dog and a fenced back yard to frolick in – but he would be fine as an only dog too.  He is smart and will be a pleasure to train.  He is currently with a foster who reports that he is friendly and happy with everyone and did well with her 6 year old niece.  And in case you're concerned that he howls or barks a lot due to his houndy appearance, our experience as well as his foster's is that he is quiet with only an occasional vocalization (which is not loud) in order to get another dog's or a person's attention. Timber would be an amazing dog who could fit into almost any situation – a family dog or for a single person who wants to get out and about – wouldn't you like to meet him?
