ATTENTION:  All of our dogs are in private foster homes.  We do NOT have a kennel with multiple dogs.  If you find a dog you want to meet in person, please go to www.secondchancedogrescue.org and complete an application.    We will make every attempt to process all applications within 3 business days of receipt. // // Say hello to Tina, a 2 year old, 22 lb. terrier mix.  We'd received a plea from one of our local shelters who needed help with a mama and her newborn pups so we stepped up to give them a second chance.  Right away we realized that Mama was sick with anemia,  and soon after that the pups developed a slight case of pneumonia, but everyone's gotten over those medical hurdles and are now healthy and thriving. Tina would do best in a home with another dog as she's ultra friendly and really wants a canine pal to play and hang out with. We think in her previous life before she came to us, she was an outdoor dog.  She's not all the way potty trained but is working on it and making good progress. She loves sleeping in her foster family's bed and hopes she'll be allowed to sleep in her new family's bed as well. Tina is spayed, up to date on her vaccines, and is microchipped. Her adoption fee is $300. All Second Chance Dog Rescue dogs are spayed/neutered, are up to date on vaccines and have microchips prior to adoption.   Adoption fees vary depending on age of dog. Fees help Second Chance Dog Rescue cover spay/neuter costs,   vaccinations, medical treatments, food and supplies.
