Learn more about this event and sign up for 10am Early Entry    HERE Age: 1.5 years (as of 9/17/25) Weight: 45 lbs (as of 10/27/25) Location: RI This dog has been spayed/neutered, is up to date on shots, on heartworm preventative and is microchipped. Meet Tinkerbell, a young, vibrant dog full of life and love. She's the epitome of joy with her friendly demeanor and playful spirit. Tinkerbell is not just fun; she's also smart and independent, making her the perfect companion for active families. She adores playing with other dogs though she prefers to steer clear of cats. She loves kids but may jump up out of excitement and adopters with young children should keep this in mind. She is friendly meeting people but her manners could use some polish. It appears she has not been exposed to walking on the leash and exploring the world outside her yard. Her adopter will need to be prepared to slowly expose her to new situations and people (with lots of high value treats – think pepperoni or chicken!), and take things at her pace to help build her confidence. We recommend that you and Tinkerbell sign up for some dog training classes together, ideally in the first 60 days or so of bringing her home. Group training classes are a great way to reinforce important skills, learn some new tricks, and get some quality socialization time with other furry friends.
