Name:  Tocino      Best Guess for Breed:  Miniature schnauzer and Shih Tzu mix Best Guess for Age: 3 years as of September 2024        SEX: Male   Approximate Weight:  14 lbs   Gets Along With:   Other dogs! We haven’t seen him with kids or cats but he can be tested.    Currently Living at:   Texas shelter; will come to the DC area.    Special adoption considerations:   Tocino is being transferred into our care before his shelter can spay him. Lucky Dog will schedule him for neuter as soon as possible. However, if he is adopted before we can alter him, his adopter becomes responsible for altering him. He must be neutered by October 14, 2024; there are NO EXCEPTIONS and NO EXTENSIONS to this deadline.   Tocino is Looking For:   His forever home! This small scruffy sweetie landed in the shelter through no fault of his own. He’s eager to once again have his own humans for sniffy walks and world exploration – and snuggles!He’d also like quality kibble and a cushy dog bed. But you know what he wants most of all? To know he’s safe and loved and under hiso wn roof. In exchange, he promises adoring gazes and snuggles and loyal companionship. What do you say? Does Tocino have a spot in your lap and your life? What My Foster Says About Me:  We will update this once he has arrived in the DC area and spent some time with his foster.  Lucky Dog cannot guarantee any dog is housebroken.  All of our dogs are working on their crate training.  TO ADOPT:      The adoption fee for this dog is $460, which includes the cost of routine vetting, including vaccinations and spay/neuter.
