Name: Toto       Best Guess for Breed:   Lab and shepherd mix Best Guess for Age: 1 year as of November 2025      SEX:  Male   Approximate Weight:  55 lbs   Gets Along With: Other dogs! We haven’t seen him with cats or kids but we are happy to discuss integration techniques with any potential adopters!   Currently Living at:   South Carolina shelter – needs a foster or forever home in the DC area to get up here!   Toto is Looking For:  ‘There’s no place like home. There’s no place like home.’ He doesn’t have ruby heels to click – or his Dorothy – so he’s sending out a plea to the universe to get him his home!He’s got all that awesome young-dog energy and is eager for sniffy trotting walks and all the adventures his new humans can dream up. Quality kibble and a cushy dog bed – yes, those too! But you know what he wants most of all? To know where he belongs, to be safe and loved. What do you say? Can you see him by your side?
