Critter Details

SUPER SWEET & ADORABLE:  Approx. 4 years old / Approx. 23 lbs. Hi, my name is Tripp!  I had a home, but unfortunately, my family’s situation became difficult, and they wanted what was best for me (and another dog friend), so we’re both with Mostly Mutts looking for wonderful new homes.  I’m ready to begin that next chapter and be part of a great family, again.  Come meet me soon!  Sadly, I wasn’t kept on heartworm prevention, so I’m HW+, but I’ll be treated for that soon.  • OTHER DOGS/CATS/KIDS:  I came to Mostly Mutts with another dog, so I may enjoy having a doggie friend in my new home.  If you have a nice doggie at home already, let’s meet and see if we can be pals! / Cats unknown / My previous owner reported that I liked kids, but I don’t remember their ages.  So, if you have kids, let’s meet,  but best no toddlers that I may bump over. • PERSONALITY/ENERGY LEVEL:  I am a happy guy with a great demeanor.  An affectionate people dog, I consider myself a lap dog, so – make room for me! The Mostly Mutts photographer described me as a little shy, but I did take my photo session very seriously and showed that I am as friendly as I am handsome!  I’m calm yet agile and sometimes seem to be deep in thought. / My energy level is 4-6.  • SKILLS/CRATE/POTTY:  I am a student in the Mostly Mutts University training program, where I am learning lots of great commands with my trainer.  So far, I know the ‘sit’ and ‘down’ commands and I look forward to learning even more! I was a door bolter in my previous home, so door etiquette should be on my list of things to learn. / My crate manners are good at Mostly Mutts. / My potty habits were reportedly good in my former home – though I did a little marking there.  I’ve just been neutered, so with time and training, that should subside.  I've only had a couple of accidents on the shelter schedule.   • LIKES/DISLIKES:  I love people and really enjoy spending time with all the nice volunteers.  My bather says I even gave hugs during my bath time!  I’m sure we’ll find lots of things we’ll like doing together once I get settled in my new home! / I can’t think of any dislikes, though I’m sure I wouldn’t like it if I didn’t get enough love, attention, and training. • MEDICAL:  I'm current on annual vaccinations, micro-chipped and neutered. Sadly, I wasn't kept on heartworm prevention in my previous home, so I'm HW positive. The good news is that I'll be treated for that in a few months and Mostly Mutts will cover the cost of that treatment with their vet, so local adoption please.  I hope to be with my family before treatment starts! I am looking for a great home with a wonderful furever family!  My adoption fee is $299.00, and I’m located in Kennesaw, Ga.
