Look no further than our darling Trixie! This exquisite calico kitty is a vision with her stunning patchwork coat and captivating eyes. Trixie isn't just a pretty face – she's an absolute dream. This young lady embodies the perfect balance: a quiet presence who loves a good cuddle session, followed by bursts of playful energy that will keep you entertained. And of course, she has just the right amount of sass to remind you she's a queen! Trixie blossomed in her previous home and is a true family cat. She's gentle and loving with children aged 5 and up, making her an ideal companion for a bustling household. She also gets along wonderfully with other cats, and we think she'd be thrilled to share her kingdom with a feline friend. While she hasn't had the pleasure of meeting a dog yet (she does voice her opinions about the neighbor's pup!), a slow introduction with a cat-savvy dog might work out, if you're up for the challenge! Trixie is ready to fill your home with purrs, cuddles, and a touch of calico charm. Could you be the lucky family to welcome this marvelous girl into your heart? Come meet Trixie today – your new best friend awaits! Trixie is from an owner surrender. To learn more about Ruff Start’s adoption process and the care our foster animals receive, please visit our How to Adopt page. If you are unable to adopt but want to help this animal and others in our care, you can donate to support the medical and veterinary needs of all Ruff Start Rescue animals. Want to adopt a kitten? We highly recommend you consider bringing home two instead of one! Adopting kittens in pairs has been proven to be beneficial for cats’ emotional and behavioral well-being and greatly improves the likelihood of long-term adopter happiness as a result. Adopting more than one kitten also reduces the risk of “Single Kitten Syndrome” (also known as Tarzan Syndrome), a symptom of under-socialization during a kitten’s most formative weeks. Kittens who are under-socialized may develop aggressive tendencies toward both other animals and humans as they grow, creating lifelong behavioral issues for owners.
