Meet Truffle! This beautiful 4 month-old long-haired female black kitten was born with a congenital condition called microphthalmia, in which the eyeballs are much smaller than normal. But that doesn’t stop Truffle from doing everything other cats can do. She is a happy kitten and doesn’t require any special medical care. Despite having smaller eyes, she is just as playful and rambunctious as any other kitten. She loves running in and out of her cat tunnel, batting around her toy springs, and wrestling with her sister and best friend, Cocoa Bean.   Truffle is happy and healthy, and her condition only adds to her cuteness. She loves attention and is a docile and affectionate little girl. Truffle would love to be adopted with her sister, Cocoa Bean, but if that is not possible, she would do best in a home with another friendly and playful cat. She has also acclimated well with her foster mom’s dog and would do well with older children. Truffle is playing with her foster family.
