Twiggy is a 7-year-old Chihuahua with curves, charm, and a whole lot of love to give! Once tipping the scales from too many treats and not enough walks, this adorable girl has been working hard on her weight-loss journey and has already shed an impressive 10 pounds! While she still has a bit to go, Twiggy is well on her way thanks to a healthy diet and plenty of TLC. Twiggy is the definition of a gentle soul. She’s incredibly sweet, loves being around people, and is a total cuddlebug. She gets along wonderfully with other dogs and enjoys calm company over high-energy adventures. Her ideal day? Lounging by your side, soaking up attention, and maybe waddling out for a short stroll or two. Because of her size and low energy, Twiggy would do best in a home without too many stairs. She has no medical conditions—her extra weight was simply due to being overfed in her previous home. She is spayed, fully vaccinated, and ready for a fresh start with someone who understands her journey and will help her stay on track (no extra snacks, please—no matter how cute she looks!). The Greater Derry Humane Society does not have a physical shelter, and all visits are by appointment only.
