Name: Tyla         Best Guess for Breed:  Terrier mix  Best Guess for Age:  7 months as of May 2025        SEX: Female   Approximate Weight:  10.8 lbs as of 5/12/25; she is still growing.    Gets Along With: She does well with other dogs. We haven’t seen them with cats or kids but we are happy to discuss integration techniques with any potential adopters!   Currently Living at:  Texas shelter; coming to the Lucky Dog rescue campus in South Carolina on 5/17 and will come to the DC area after that!   Special adoption considerations:   Because Tyla is shy, she needs to go to a home with a confident, welcoming resident dog who will show her the ropes.   Tyla is Looking For: This sweet girl wants nothing more than to trot through life with all the confidence of a well-loved family dog. Thing is, she hasn’t seen quite enough of the world yet and can be shy in some new settings. She’s seeking extra patient and loving adopters who are ready to introduce her to new places and people at her pace, and a welcoming resident dog who will show her how to dog. And then she’ll be ready to go – all those places to see, all those pup and people pals to make!    She really is a sweetie and has so much love and loyalty to offer her humans. What do you say? What My Foster Says About Me:  We will update this once she has arrived in the DC area and spent some time with her foster.  Lucky Dog cannot guarantee any dog is housebroken.  All of our dogs are working on their crate training.  TO ADOPT: The adoption fee for this dog is $460, which includes the cost of routine vetting, including vaccinations and spay/neuter.
