We’re happy to help with tips & tricks. Currently Living at: Foster in the DC area I am Looking For: My loving forever family! Hi! I’m Uma, and I am a sweet kitty! I won’t ask for much- just some love, cuddles and lots of toys so I can run and play and be myself. What My Foster Says About Me:  Coming soon! What the Shelter Says About Me: Uma the Puma is what foster mom likes to call her! This beauty is so sweet but very shy! Uma was unfortunately dropped off outside of the Animal Shelter with her brother Ulrich. But, lucky for them – they decided that their foster mom looked really nice and it would be ok to go home with her! Foster mom has worked really hard to get them to trust humans again. Uma would make the perfect addition to a quiet home, she stays in foster mom’s office most of the day and sits in her lap to be brushed, or supervises foster moms work. Uma does not do well with children when children pet her she gets very scared and her body trembles. Uma would love to go home with someone who has a quiet home and maybe even works from home. Uma startles easily with sudden loud noises, but she is ok with foster moms music, treadmill, and vacuum. Uma would probably be ok being an only cat as she observes more than she plays, but ideally she would love to go home with her brother Ulrich because he is so outgoing he makes her more confident. Uma has been socialized with her foster dog and loves her. She also gets along well with the other resident cats/kittens.  TO ADOPT: The adoption fee for this cat is $200 ($350 for two cats adopted together), which includes the cost of routine vetting.  If you are interested in adopting, please complete the Adoption Questionnaire online   at bit.ly/adoptaluckycat  Lucky Dog Animal Rescue does our best to provide accurate information about the cats we have for adoption.
