Name: Vesper         Best Guess for Breed: Chihuahua mix Best Guess for Age:  4 years as of September 2024         SEX:   Female   Approximate Weight: 6.6 lbs   Gets Along With:   Vesper does well with other dogs. We haven’t seen her with cats but she can be tested. We would be cautious placing Vesper in a home with children under 12 years old because young kids can often scare small breed dogs with their level of energy or noise.  Children would need to be supervised closely to ensure their interactions with the dog are calm and gentle in nature.  We would be happy to discuss this more in depth with any applicant.   Currently Living at:  Texas shelter; needs a foster or forever home in the DC area to get on a freedom flight here!   Vesper is Looking For:  Her forever home! This utterly adorable little pup landed in the shelter through no fault of her own. She’s eager to once again have her own humans for sniffy walks and world exploration – and snuggles!She’d also like quality kibble and a cushy dog bed. But you know what she wants most of all? To know she’s safe and loved and under her own roof. In exchange, she promises adoring gazes and snuggles and loyal companionship. What do you say? Does Vesper have a spot in your lap and your life? What My Foster Says About Me:   We will update this once she has arrived in the DC area and spent some time with her foster, Lucky Dog cannot guarantee any dog is housebroken.  All of our dogs are working on their crate training.  TO ADOPT:      The adoption fee for this dog is $460, which includes the cost of routine vetting, including vaccinations and spay/neuter.
