Name:  Walker        Best Guess for Breed:  Schnauzer mix  Best Guess for Age:  3 years as of July 2025       SEX:  Male   Approximate Weight:  18.2 lbs   Gets Along With:  Other dogs! We haven’t seen him with cats or kids but we are happy to discuss integration techniques with any potential adopters!   Currently Living at:  South Carolina shelter – needs a foster or forever home in the DC area to get up here!   Walker is Looking For:  His forever home! Through no fault of his own, this sweetie landed in the shelter. He’s eager to once again have his own humans for long sniffy walks and all the adventures they can dream up. He’d love to make pup and people pals along the way. Quality kibble, cushy dog bed, chew dog toys – yes, please, to all those. But above all he wants to be safe and loved, to know where he belongs – and upon whom to bestow all those happy tail wags, to whom to pledge loyal companionship.
