Meet Wendy – Your Future Snuggle Buddy! Breed: Pomeranian Mix Age: 2 years old Spayed & Up to Date on Shots Crate & House Trained Wendy is a sweet, 2-year-old Pomeranian mix with a fun, quirky personality who is ready to find her forever family. After spending the beginning of her life living outdoors with other dogs, she’s now thriving in a foster home and adjusting beautifully to indoor life. Wendy gets along wonderfully with her two foster dog siblings and even the resident cats! She would do well in a home with other dogs—especially one with a confident canine friend to help her continue building trust—but she could also be happy as your one and only, especially if you’re home often. This fluffy little girl is crate trained and house trained, and while she may talk a little when she knows you’re nearby, she settles down quickly. She’s learning to walk on a leash and is making progress every day. Wendy is also working on getting comfortable in the car, improving with every ride. Though a bit shy at first, Wendy is blossoming more each day. She likely didn’t have much exposure to people early in life, but now she seeks out the comfort of her foster parents and loves to sit near them. Her favorite pastime? Curling up on the couch with a pile of toys for snuggles and solo playtime. Wendy’s ideal home will be patient and understanding, willing to go at her pace as she continues to grow into the confident companion she’s meant to be. In return, she’ll bring quiet joy, loyalty, and endless cozy moments. If you’re looking for a gentle soul to love and watch bloom, Wendy might just be your perfect match. If you are interested in adopting Wendy, please submit an inquiry directly to Greater Charlotte SPCA by visiting charlottespca.org/adopt. The adoption amount is a suggested donation of $200 to $300 dollars based on the pet's age. **Because our rescue is composed entirely of volunteers, local applications will take precedence. We will accept out of town applications, but any family is responsible for coming to Charlotte to complete a meet and greet. All out of town applicants will also have to be willing to drive to Charlotte to pick up the pet as soon as they are approved to adopt. **
