With her adoption deadline looming on Wednesday, 12/18, this sweetheart is ready to find her forever family. Despite the heartbreak of being abandoned (she arrived with a microchip but sadly, no one claimed her), Weyand’s spirit shines through as she adores her human friends and may get a bit jumpy when excited. Once she settles in, she’ll roll over for belly rubs that will melt your heart!While she may have had a rocky moment with another dog during playgroups, we believe that Weyand deserves a shot at being the only spoiled pooch in a household where she can bask in undivided love and attention. Her handler-focused demeanor means she’s eager to learn and please; plus, she has a soft spot for treats! With proper guidance, she’ll thrive as your loyal companion—walking beautifully on leash and responding well to corrections.
